I remember that when I was a child, dad always brought his camera with him. The house full of albums, the old slides we all watched together with the projector and, as I grew up, the joy I felt every time I found an old photo.
Then my uncle, who would buy old cameras at flea markets all over the world, disassembled them and used the pieces to create a new one: genius or madness?

I am 45 years old, I have been many things over the years: volleyball player, model, sales manager in the automotive market, but photography has always been my main passion, my personal filter on the world!

Life as a photographer has taken me all over for years: I have travelled a lot, lived in Asia (still my first love), returned to my homeland, Italy, and then settled in Fuerteventura, the ‘wild’ of the Canary Islands.

At the age of 35 I landed here on my own, with four certainties: I wanted to make a living out of photography, connect with people, speak as many languages as possible and to have a dog…

Crazy Shutter first started with a quad bike, on which I followed the dune buggy tours for a while to capture images of tourists driving. There was craziness, and a lot of it, but it was so much fun!

From the beginning it was clear to me that I didn’t want to be just one thing – why put yourself in a box when the possibilities are endless?

CRAZY SHUTTER is a universe of photography, driven by me, my passion for portrait photography and my love for human connection, but it also goes beyond me. It’s a space in constant evolution and training, where photography in all its forms reigns, transforms, perfects itself, in a continuous search for technical and personal improvement.
